Why St Johns
We offer an extensive variety of regular activities such as sand and water play, painting, drawing, puzzles and construction, as well as reading time, song and dance and imaginative play through dressing up and ’play corner’. We have a large range of social toys and the children are encouraged to utilize everything that is available to them. In addition we aim to provide special activities such as cooking, music with an external musician and crafts. We encourage physical play, making as much use of our wonderful secure outdoor grassy playground where the children enjoy bug hunting, outdoor games and the many toys that are available to them. We also now have an all weather surface; so on clear winter days the children can still have fun outside.
We hold Christmas parties where we encourage parents to join in where they can, as well as joining the Christmas Nativity in St John’s Church and Easter Egg hunts on the lawn. Each half term, a newsletter is sent out to parents to keep them informed of current themes and upcoming events.
Our Aims & Objectives
